Why Sellers Order One
The inspection that happens after you are under contract arrives with a deadline attached. The same information, gathered before you list, is just information. You decide which items to address and on what timeline.
Know what issues are on your home before listing it for sale.

The same scope as a buyer's inspection: roofing, exterior, structural, electrical, heating, cooling, insulation and ventilation, plumbing, and interiors.
Share the report with your listing agent, and with prospective buyers if you choose. I am glad to walk through the findings with either of you.
Residential inspections are performed to meet or exceed the Standards of Practice established by the North Carolina Home Inspector Licensure Board, which includes:

Your written report lands within a day or two of the inspection, not a week later when the option period is gone.
Learn MoreEach finding is photographed so you can see exactly what I saw and where it is in the home.
Learn MoreFindings are written in plain English with a straightforward recommendation on each one.
Learn MoreThe person who answers the phone is the person who inspects your home and writes your report.
Learn MoreYou and your agent are welcome to attend. I point things out as I go and answer questions on site.
Learn MoreSignificant items stay separate from routine maintenance so report length never reads as severity.
Learn MoreI do not sell repairs and take no referral fees, so the findings are not shaped by what work would be worth.
Learn MoreQuestions once you have read it? Call me directly. Follow-up is part of the inspection, not an extra.

There is no better indicator of an inspection company’s thoroughness than the report it produces. Mine are detailed, photographed, and written in plain English, typically delivered within 24 to 48 hours.

Drew and his wife were very professional and helpful during our inspection. Drew took the time to walk us through the house and show us anything we had questions on. He also took the time to explain everything from the thermal camera to the radon testing equipment. As first time home buyers we were very pleased with the service.
